DO YOU LOVE JESUS
I knelt to pray but not for long, I had too much to do.
I had to hury and get to work For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer, And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done, My soul could rest at ease, All day long I had no time to spread a word of cheer, No time to speak of Christ to friends
They'd laugh at me I'd fear. No time, no time, too much to do, that was my constant cry. No time to give to souls in need.
But at last the time to die. I went before the Lord, I came, I stood with down cast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book; It was the boo0k of life.
God looked into his book and said "Your name I cannot find, I once was going to write it down, But never found the time"
Make time for Christ and He will make time for you.
"Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?
Who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that
walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness
and speaketh the truth in his heart."

IDENTIFY THE LORD'S ONE CHURCH
When we restore the specific component parts that identify the church of Christ, we
will have restored the church that Jesus built--the church of Christ. These identifying
marks of the Lord's church are; the New Testment authority it to exist, its designations, Its organization, its works, its worship and its terms of entry. Obviously
the Lord's church is not a denomination--a human church. |
Congregations of this one institution, comprised of all the saved, are located around the world
We encourage all to investigate the claim that the Bible only makes Christians and the
only Christians are members of the church of Christ.
All denominational religion is contrary to the Lord's prayer and to his Apostle Paul's plea
John 17:20-21, 1 Corinthians 1:10). Thus we plead with all men everywhere such man
made churches and be only, members of the church that Jesus built.

YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT ?
In the beginning there was nothing. And suddenly for no reason nothing
exploded and created everything. You expect me to believe that?
At some point, by chance the right chemicals happened to float
together at just the right moment to be struck by an electrical charge
and become life. You expect me to believe that ?
Somewhere two non-human mothers each gave birth to a human
child. They were born at the same time and in the same place, one was
male and one was female. These two new "humans" gave birth to the
human race. You expect me to believe that ?
One of the descendants of these first humans was born with the knowledge
of right and wrong. No longer driven by instinct, this person suddenly
making decisions based on a morality for which there is no real explanation.
You expect me to believe that ?
I'm sorry, I don't have that much blind faith. It's all just too farfetched to be
anything more than a fairy tale. I can't believe intelligent people claim it is
"science" (cf. 1 Timothy6:20).
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth (Genesis 1:1).
I can believe that without stretching my imagination into the realm of
the impossible. The universe was created by an all-powerful, all-knowing
God. That I can Believe. |
